Born and raised in Winston-Salem, Buddy has always had an interest in cooking. Having attended the Culinary Institute of America, he has worked at numerous restaurants over the years and now is the executive chef and co-owner of Milner's, a restaurant he started with the family in 2005.
A native of North Carolina, John found his passion for hospitality and food early on in life. John attended the Culinary Institute of America, having received his associate's degree in culinary arts. After years of desiring to own a restaurant with his brother, Milner's was opened.
A native Upstate New York girl, Wendy mastered fine table service at the acclaimed Sherwood Inn in Skaneateles, NY. She continued her love of the business in Charleston, SC where she opened the wildly popular Poe's Tavern with husband Buddy before moving to Winston-Salem to open Milner's. Wendy oversees catering and all aspects of service.
